Details of the City Tour in Cologne |
| First we proceed to the other side of the river Rhine to tell you the history
of the city from the roman to the mediaeval times while we have a
great view on the historic city. You are going to visit the great cathedral
of Cologne and you will hear about its rich history, see the mediaeval city
hall in the historic centre with its charming market places and
tiny houses, We visit the most beautiful romanesque church St. Gereon, explain you the local media industry in the Mediapark with it's radio and TV-stations and the multiplex-cinema CINEDOM. You hear details about the Prussian aera when you see the military fortress Fort X and you will cross the river again towards the beautiful Rhine-Park and you will pass the trade fair of Cologne. During the city-tour your guide will tell you interesting stories and will give you fascinating details about the city. Several stops for information and a visit of the cathedral are scheduled as well as a little break in the restaurant Alte Feuerwache.
